We follow the 2023 Religious Education Directory, therefore at KS3 students will study the following branches; each year deepening their knowledge and skills;

Branch 1: Creation & covenant
Branch 2: Prophecy & Promise
Branch 3: Galilee to Jerusalem
Branch 4: Desert to Garden
Branch 5: To the ends of the Earth
Branch 6: Dialogue and encounter 

As this is a spiral curriculum students will deepen their knowledge each year, exploring new topics and practising new skills. Each of the branches includes the following lenses by which students will learn:

Understanding - understanding and applying key knowledge and beliefs
Discern - examining the importance as well as exploring other beliefs.
Respond - understanding how these beliefs are put into practice and the impact they may have in their life.
