Liturgical Ministry
Music Ministry
We have a strong musical tradition in our school, and music is an integral part of the animation of prayer and liturgy. With a varied repertoire of music from within the Church’s rich tradition, our music ministry team, including both students and staff, are often called upon to lead the liturgy at high profile events, both in school and around the country.
Dance
A dedicated group of dancers often animate our liturgies at various points of the year. Through movement they can bring aspects of the Gospel message to life and provide poignant moments of reflection during times of prayer.
Drama
The drama group work closely with specialist staff to devise creative pieces which fuse the stories in the Gospel with contemporary reflections. Their contributions to our liturgies are both entertaining and moving, and is an effective way to help all student engage with prayer in a meaningful way.
Altar Servers
Students are encouraged to exercise their ministry of altar serving during school masses. On the feast of St Dominic Savio, patron of altar servers, a special blessing is offered for them during morning mass.
