Thornleigh BOSCEP Carol Service

The BoSCEP Christmas celebration is a cherished tradition among Catholic schools in Bolton, encompassing both primary and secondary educational institutions.

This annual event is a harmonious blend of music, singing, and drama, intertwined with readings, reflection, and prayer, creating a rich tapestry of festive spirit and spiritual reverence.

As part of the Advent calendar, this celebration fosters a sense of community and shared faith, allowing students and teachers to come together in joyful anticipation of the Christmas season. Through the participation in Christmas Carols, students not only embrace their cultural and religious heritage but also develop a deeper understanding of the values of unity, compassion, and hope that underpin the Advent and Christmas seasons.

This tradition is more than a mere event; it is an opportunity to reflect on the past year, connect with others, and prepare hearts and minds for the celebration of Christ's birth.

Mr Fitzsimons took the opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas with your family and friends.
